Celebrity couples often face more hardships than married people who are not in the limelight. Paparazzi interference, the pressure of keeping up public appearances, and erratic work schedules are only some of the complications that are part and parcel of being a celebrity. Top this with everyday marital pressures such as parenting, sexual intimacy, or finances, and it is easy for a fragile relationship to collapse.
Owing to their successful careers, celebrities have very little time to devote to their partners. This could lead to repetitive arguments, not to mention the general insecurity when your partner is around attractive people. Celebrities who have suffered marital break-ups include singer Patti LaBelle, after thirty-one years of marriage; actor Danny Glover, after eighteen years of marriage; and singer Diana Ross, after fourteen years of marriage. Celebrities have to juggle a lot of responsibilities. Thus, the unique challenges that celebrity couples face put unwarranted pressures on their relationships. They are on tour or on location for long stretches of time. As a natural progression of years of slowly causes them to grow apart, some couples choose to opt out of the relationship.
The break-up of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman is a reflection of how celebrity couples ***** under pressure. Their marriage, touted as the most solid relationship in show business, became a casualty of their professional lives. After nine years and eleven months of being together, the most-celebrated couple in Hollywood decided to split. “Citing the difficulties inherent in divergent careers, which constantly keep them apart, they concluded that an amicable separation seems best for both of them at this time,” their spokesperson, Pat Kingsley, told the media.
In hindsight, celebrity couples need to insulate their relationships. They have to realize that family life and children take precedence over a successful career. Some couples get so caught up in their lifestyles that by the time they realize the potential damage, it is too late to make amends.

Celebrity autographs can be great investments, if you know how to buy them. Here are some pointers.
Spotting fake autographs. Establishing authenticity can be a huge problem when dealing with celebrity autographs, especially because many celebrities change their signatures frequently.
The best protection is still common sense – if the deal is too good to be true, it probably is. Check for the spelling. Many fakes spell the names of celebrities incorrectly – Cate Blanchett fakes are sometimes spelled ‘Kate Blanchett,’ for example. Also check the material. Do not expect a supposedly original Bruce lee autograph on laser-printed pictures to be real, because Bruce did not live long enough to see laser printers.
Note that there are such things as ’secretarials,’ or autographs signed and mailed by celebrities’ assistants for them. These kinds of autographs are worthless – do not bother to invest in them.
Some celebrities keep track of the signatures they give out over time. They keep a list of people who have asked for autographs for authentication purposes. The famous boxer George Foreman, for example, keeps a record of the names and addresses of each individual who writes him asking for an autograph. He says he does this to know if the request comes from a genuine fan, or from a dealer who only wants more autographs to put up for sale.
Understanding value. Not all celebrity autographs will appreciate in value. If you are a serious collector and would like to make money from your autographs, make sure to buy only those with high market potential. Autographs from notorious celebrities, celebrities who died tragically at a young age, and celebrities with controversial backgrounds are very attractive investments for collectors. For example, the autographs of James Dean and Marilyn Monroe, who not only died young but also led outrageous lifestyles, are much-coveted. Invest in such pieces, and you will surely make a profit.

What really makes a celebrity a true celebrity? Is it the news coverage? The pursuit of tabloids? Perhaps sheer popularity is what drives us to call movie stars, musicians, and politicians celebrities. If that is the case, are the non-traditional stars celebrities as well?
In order to find a satisfactory answer to this dilemma, one must look for a celebrity index. CelebrityContest.net has developed an algorithm to assign a value to a celebrity, much as stocks are assigned a monetary value in order for site visitors or members to build celebrity portfolio. The algorithm takes into consideration the amount and timing of news items pertaining to celebrities as well as the popularity of the celebrity as a portion of online portfolios. But does this adequately measure the amount of celebrity status an individual has achieved?
Celebrity
To determine this, we need to consider what celebrity actually means. The American Heritage Dictionary defines celebrity as “a famous person,” or “renown, fame.” That definition is very broad indeed. To be renown is to simply be well-known. Osama Bin Laden is well-known, but does not necessarily have the same following as Jessica Alba. By this definition, however, they are both celebrities.
Thus, to be a celebrity, one must be either famous or infamous, and the distinction is not relevant. By this same token, individuals who have developed a following in unconventional ways such as the internet or reality programming are certainly celebrities as well – albeit some have more global coverage than others. So to measure the amount of celebrity an individual has obtained, one would simply need to measure his or her popularity.
Measuring Popularity
Before the information age, to measure popularity would involve countless newspaper and magazine searches. Print resources as well as television and radio contained any and all celebrity news and gossip. With the advent of the internet, this changed, of course. In present times, the internet has not only opened countless doors to those aspiring to stardom, but has developed a multitude of news and gossip outlets as well.
Most of the conventional media outlets – magazines, newspapers, radio, and television have developed an online presence. Often these websites contain more information pertaining to celebrities than the original medium. Those interested in entertainment news now have almost countless methods to find the information they seek.
The fastest way to find information online, however, is through the search engines. Major search engines index all web pages and online news items as they are developed, and offer users a chance to hone in on the desired material. Searching for celebrities will pull up thousands, if not millions, of relevant results. It follows that by simply counting the number of searches and articles for each celebrity, one could understand the popularity of that individual.
Celebrity Contest
It seems the algorithm developed by CelebrityContest.net holds true. The algorithm assigns value to a celebrity based on the number and age of news items and searches, which is the best indicator of popularity. Of course, the algorithm also includes results from CelebrityContest.net, which are a valid indicator as well.
If a celebrity is popular, he or she will be included in many portfolios. If he is becoming blas

When it comes to celebrity tattoos, there are two approaches that people consider. The first is to emulate a design that is similar to their favorite movie star, athlete, or musician.
The second approach is to actually pay homage to a celebrity by inking their likeness onto their body. For this reason, people are constantly keeping a lookout for the latest trends in celebrity tattoos.
As you scan your favorite magazine, television show, or film, the lives of celebrities unfold to the point that you are able to pinpoint each and every time they mark their body with a new tattoo. While you may or may not desire the same exact tattoo, their choices may encourage your creative juices and help you explore what you want out of a design.
Outside of athletes and musicians, one of the more popular tattooed celebrities is Angelina Jolie, who has influenced many to explore the world of tribal tattoos, with the dragon, tiger, and foreign writing found on her shoulders and arms.
While movie stars are rather influential in the trends of tattooing, the choices of musicians are followed as well. An assortment of R&B artists, hip-hop, and rock stars are often scrutinized for the various creations they display. For example, the “Thug Life” tattoo that Tupac showcased on his stomach has inspired numerous tattoo designs over the years.
While the tattoos that celebrities select have persuaded many to follow the same path, it is the accomplishments or connections that fans make with these stars that also influences tattoo designs. Music is a powerful source of healing, which has encouraged some to tattoo their favorite artists onto their body in remembrance of their heartache, pain, and triumph.
Some celebrity tattoos are meant to celebrate life and the things that mean the most. A musician may choose a tattoo of Mozart, while a painter may side with Van Gogh. Additional celebrity tattoos that are quite popular include Marilyn Monroe, Anna Nicole Smith, Michael Jordan, and Bruce Lee.
